**About this English Language Lecturer opportunity**

This is very much a values-based college, with a dedication to supporting learners with their academic success.

You'll be responsible for creating and developing course materials as well as delivering inspirational lessons to a range of students.
- Up to £30 ph
- 20 hours per week (Hours to be extended in January)
- Fixed term contract until June 2024
- Immediate start
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's programs and curriculum
- Play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching and inspiring English students in the classroom - GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English across all levels.
- Participate in administrative tasks related to the program and college requirements

**A bit about you**:

- Have a genuine passion for teaching and fostering a sense of curiosity among learners
- You will have a literacy/English qualification at Level 3 with experience of teaching GCSE English and a Numeracy/Maths qualification at Level 2
- Teaching qualification (e.g. DET, PGCE), or a willingness to work towards one
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
