As a PatientAdministrator you will play a pivotal role in how we support ourpatients throughout their healthcare journey. Provide ahigh-quality administrative and secretarial service for the unit toensure an efficient service, using IT systems and digitaltechnology to ensure patients feel informed throughout the process,and provide administrative support to colleagues for the imagingservices we provide.
What you areresponsible for:
  • Welcomingpatients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating theirarrival through to departure
  • Dealing withtelephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner,ensuring the provision of information and prioritisation of queriesas appropriate
  • Booking clinically validatedappointments on the internal system
  • Ensuringall payments are invoiced promptly and accurately and that paymentsare taken on the day
  • Tracking and distributingimaging data and reports as required
  • Utilisingrelevant IT systems to support the delivery of a high-qualityimaging service
  • Assist with monthlyreports
  • Complying with ISO standards,respecting and protectingconfidentiality
  • Reporting any incidents,feedback or complaints effectively
  • Ensuringpatient and customer focus is central to the commercial success ofthe business.
We are looking forsomeone who has:
  • Flexibility inworking patterns to fulfil site requirements
  • Aproficient understanding of IT packages and administrationtasks
  • The ability to prioritise tasks whilstmaintaining accuracy and attention todetail
  • Effective communication skills, both onthe phone and face to face
  • A strongunderstanding of confidentiality and dataprotection
  • A supportive, trustworthy andreliable approach to their work
  • An empatheticand caring approach.
You shouldapply if you have experience:
  • Working in a fast-paced administrativerole
  • Being in a patient or customer facingenvironment
  • Experience in a healthcareenvironment would be desirable but notessential
  • Knowledge and experience of usingMicrosoft and other IT Packages
  • Workingindependently and as part of a widerteam.
