About THG Studios

We offer a combination of Creative, Production, Strategy services and complete end to end Project Management and Account Management which our clients rely on to deliver exceptional outputs.

About You 

You’ll be an experienced Senior Video Editor, ideally with a minimum of 4 years of experience in editing videos. You’ll enjoy and adapt to different project needs; ranging from longer-form social campaign/brand videos to short engaging paid adverts. You’ll be comfortable working with creatives from the ideation of projects through to QC of other people’s work.

You’ll be able to quickly transform designed assets into beautiful created engaging edits. THG Studios videos are often of high importance, and require tight- turnarounds, so agility and speed (whilst retaining quality) are key skills, alongside the ability to take, and actionable feedback. You’ll also have an unwavering passion to drive creativity and level up every production. As a senior member of the Post-production team, you’ll drive innovation and offer support to other members of the team.

Main Activities and Tasks

Craft engaging stories through creative and collaborative video editingDeliver post-production video editing for all platforms (TV, events, social media), utilizing specialist programs and equipment for a wide range of jobsCollaborate with the internal team to create dynamic video solutionsGenerate original ideas alongside the creative/video teamsWorking with our in-house Producers to provide editorial expertise that enables creative output to a high technical standardWork with the Video Production coordinator, Producers, and Project Managers to plan your time to ensure deadlines are metProviding creative support to your colleagues, providing constructive feedbackMaintain positive internal and external client relationshipsAdhering to internal processes, objectives, and hitting KPIsMentor and coach more junior members of the team.

Requirements

A team player with a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic4+ years experience with Adobe creative suiteProfessional demeanor with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExceptional creativity and innovation with a high level of accuracy and technical abilityFlexibility to switch between several projects at onceA strong understanding of post-production processes and the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere/Audition in particular) is essential. Knowledge of Da-Vinci Resolve is desirableA proven track record of delivering video content for aspirational brandsInfuse all creative decisions with storytelling purpose and practical solutionsA strong communicator with an ability to tailor your approach to both creative and analytical mindsetsAbility to make rational decisions and exercise THG Studios BMP with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environmentExperience working in a team with multiple stakeholdersExperience editing videos based on creative objectives with minimal directionMust be able to respond positively to criticismAbility to balance multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring clear lines of communication with all parties (including content sign-off and reporting)Stay up-to-date on current trends, editing techniques, and styles, as well as content platformsExperience delivering content under tight deadlines, with the understanding that late night & weekend work may be required to achieve delivery requirementsCan provide final delivery elements on time in various formats.
