Your Role

As a Senior Video Editor, you will bring a wealth of experience, ideally with a minimum of 4 years in video editing. You will thrive in adapting to various project requirements, from long-form social campaign videos to concise, engaging advertisements. Your comfort in collaborating with creatives from project inception to quality control of final outputs will be essential.

You will excel at transforming designed assets into captivating edits. Given the high stakes and tight deadlines of THG Studios' projects, agility and speed, while maintaining quality, are critical skills. Your ability to accept and implement constructive feedback will be invaluable. A strong passion for creativity and a commitment to enhancing every production will be key as you take on a senior role within the Post-production team, driving innovation and supporting your colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling narratives through collaborative video editing.
  • Execute post-production video editing for diverse platforms (TV, events, social media), utilizing specialized software and equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop dynamic video solutions.
  • Contribute original ideas alongside creative and video teams.
  • Work with in-house Producers to provide editorial expertise that meets high technical standards.
  • Coordinate with the Video Production team to effectively manage your time and meet deadlines.
  • Offer creative support to colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Adhere to internal processes and objectives while achieving KPIs.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications

  • A collaborative mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • 4+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation with a high level of technical proficiency.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A solid understanding of post-production processes and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere and Audition); knowledge of Da-Vinci Resolve is a plus.
  • A proven history of delivering video content for esteemed brands.
  • Ability to infuse storytelling purpose into all creative decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to both creative and analytical approaches.
  • Capacity to make informed decisions and uphold THG Studios' values with integrity and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in editing videos based on creative objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Receptiveness to constructive criticism.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Staying informed on current trends, editing techniques, and content platforms.
  • Experience delivering content under tight deadlines, with an understanding that flexibility in working hours may be necessary.
  • Capability to provide final delivery elements on time in various formats.
