Your Role

As an experienced Video Editor with a minimum of 3 years in the field, you will thrive in adapting to diverse project requirements, ranging from long-form social campaign videos to short, engaging advertisements. You will collaborate closely with creatives from the initial ideation phase through to project completion.

Your ability to swiftly transform designed assets into captivating edits is crucial. Given the high stakes of THG Studios videos, agility and speed (while maintaining quality) are essential skills, along with the capacity to accept and implement constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling narratives through innovative and collaborative video editing.
  • Execute post-production video editing for various platforms (TV, events, social media), utilizing specialized software and equipment for a broad range of projects.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop dynamic video solutions.
  • Coordinate with the Video Production coordinator, Producers, and Project Managers to effectively manage your time and meet deadlines.
  • Provide creative support to colleagues.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Adhere to internal processes, objectives, and achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

  • A collaborative team player with a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation, combined with a high level of accuracy and technical proficiency.
  • A solid understanding of post-production processes and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere/Audition) is essential; knowledge of Da-Vinci Resolve is a plus.
  • A proven track record of delivering video content for prestigious brands.
  • Incorporate storytelling purpose and practical solutions into all creative decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to both creative and analytical audiences.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and uphold THG Studios' values with integrity and accountability in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Experience collaborating in a team with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in editing videos based on creative objectives with minimal guidance.
  • Willingness to respond positively to constructive criticism.
  • Capability to balance multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Stay informed on current trends, editing techniques, and styles, as well as content platforms.
  • Experience delivering content under tight deadlines, with an understanding that late-night and weekend work may be necessary to meet delivery requirements.
  • Ability to provide final delivery elements on time in various formats.
