Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Our wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways / rail authorities, and developers.

It’s an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business with unprecedented investment in the water industry. Due to continued framework successes, we seek to recruit a Framework Manager to join our Water and Wastewater Team in Derby or Birmingham to lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks, with a leading UK Water Company.

Your purpose:

Leading a dynamic project delivery team, responsible for the successful delivery of one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks. The development of client relationships with our key Water Company and non-Water Company clients. Project Management of DWMPs and other projects including Hydraulic Model Build and verification, Storm Water Management, SuDS, drainage, option development, SOAF and WFD. Driving continuous improvement in project delivery. Development of tender responses and fee estimates. Supervising and developing staff and providing guidance to support their professional development. Experience working with software such as FME, Power Bi, and/or programming tools such as Ruby, Python and Visual Basic would be advantageous.

What you can bring:

Demonstrable experience in the UK water industry, with experience in growing and building strong relationships with clients. Experience in managing projects, leading teams, and development of people. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to have technical discussions with colleagues and clients in a logical and coherent manor. Experience of hydraulic model build, verification, and solution development, including knowledge of the use of InfoWorks ICM, as well as GIS packages. Ability to review work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client. Proficiency in MS 365 applications, and have knowledge in areas such as advanced Excel, PowerBI and SharePoint. Relevant degree or vocational qualification. Chartered with a relevant professional institution (i.e. ICE or CIWEM), would be advantageous.
