Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4, full time learners and 10, part time learners. We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1, staff.

The role:
37 Hours per week- Full time Fixed Term- 2 years £.00 - .00 Per Annum SwanseaKey Responsibilities:
Ensure that all learners have the opportunity to develop their bilingual skills and where appropriate develop their confidence to use their Welsh language skills in and out of the classroom Advise and encourage students to follow courses through the medium of Welsh or bilingually and deliver Welsh language awareness raising sessions Support students studying through the medium of Welsh or bilingually Work with teaching staff to assist Fluent Welsh studentsAbout you:
Experience of mentoring Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above Welsh First Language Experience of promoting Welsh language and Culture Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) Level 4 (Fluent) Good interpersonal and organisational skillsBenefits for you:
