Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and driven Education Sales Consultant to join our team and help us drive our business development and growth through delivering customer success. The successful candidate will be responsible for some new business demonstrations but primarily will focus on supporting new clients to realise a successful outcome to their implementation of OlexAI. This can include supporting new client pilots of OlexAi through to full onboarding activities including support, training, relationship and stakeholder development and longer term management.


The ideal candidate is passionate about education technology and the role AI will play in the future of education. They will have a customer management, account management and/or consultancy background in education technology or related fields and will be comfortable developing and maintaining relationships with teachers, departmental leadership and senior school and trust leaders. They may have a background specialism in primary or secondary phase education but must be comfortable operating and supporting schools and teachers across both.


To be successful our preferred candidate must combine the best of being target driven with a real understanding of what drives the education community and have a demonstrable track record of supporting customers to realise successful outcomes. They will come from a consultative, service management or sales background but will be mission-driven to succeed whilst demonstrably recognising the importance of supporting educators to improve student outcomes and life-chances. Our Sales Representatives must also be highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment.





Key Responsibilities:


Tactical Sales Activity: Implement company sales strategies and tactical activities to enable and support growth objectives..


Lead Generation Support: Contact and manage new company leads. Attend conferences and exhibitions across the country when needed.


Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including school administrators, teachers, and educational leaders.


Product Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.


Client Management: Understand the unique needs of each client and provide tailored solutions that meet their educational goals.


Customer Support and onboarding: Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.


Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.


Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activities, impact on retention and client interactions using CRM software (knowledge and experience of Pipedrive preferred).





Qualifications & Experience:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.


Experience: Minimum of 3 years of customer engagement, account management or education consultancy experience, preferably in the education technology or software industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the education sector and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.


Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technology and its applications in education is highly desirable.
