Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary and detailed structural analysis for electric actuation and subsystems.
- Engage in the entire product lifecycle from concept design to production support.
- Use classical and computational methods for stress analysis.
- Plan and manage analysis workload to support rapid product development
- Develop new and innovative analytical capabilities
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams and interface with customers.
- Support new business opportunities and customer relationships.
- Contribute to engineering strategy and technology roadmap.
- Occasionally perform other tasks as needed, with provided training.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Conduct preliminary sizing analysis and conceptual design support.
- Perform classical and computational analysis of mechanical elements.
- Produce and present technical reports and summaries.
- Develop new capabilities to support technology roadmaps.
- Create customer proposals and presentations.
- Support failure investigations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate to identify synergies and best practices.
- Mentor and train early career engineers..
Technical Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Demonstrable expertise in structural analysis' instead
- Experience with Ansys, MathCAD, and CATIA preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of classical analysis methods and structural FEA.
- Proven problem-solving skills in structural analysis.
- Strong communication skills.
