Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and management of acquiring and card-issuing products.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and deployment.
  • Utilize JIRA and Agile methodologies to manage product development processes.
  • Deal effectively with card schemes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage settlement processes and ensure accurate reconciliation.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize product features.
  • Ensure a user-centric approach to product design and functionality.
  • Track product performance and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Work with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Click to Pay integrations.
  • Develop and manage installment payment solutions.
  • Engage with Payment Service Providers (PSP) and Independent Sales Organizations (ISO).
  • Navigate the licensing process for payment solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations.
  • Write detailed product requirements and review API documentation independently.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the payments industry, specifically with acquiring and card issuing.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK and European financial markets.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end product operations.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience dealing with card schemes and understanding settlement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in launching successful products with significant user adoption.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects from 0-1.
  • Familiarity with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Click to Pay.
  • Experience developing and managing installment payment solutions.
  • Experience dealing with PSP and ISO.
  • Knowledge of the licensing process for payment solutions.
  • Understanding of UK and EU compliance rules.
  • Capability to write detailed product requirements and understand API documentation.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with financial technology (FinTech) companies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the payments industry.
  • Background in UX/UI design principles.
  • Technical knowledge of payment systems and APIs.
