Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) develops digital solutions that make it easy for bank partners, merchants, acquirers, etc. to connect and do business with American Express. Whether it's through transaction processing on our modernized, high-performing Network, or through acquiring platforms that allow millions of merchants to warmly accept Amex, NAS develops products and capabilities that are imperative to our customers' lives.

The Network Products Team is a critical part of the NAS organization, and is accountable for leading the strategy, design, development, and ongoing management of Network products, services, and capabilities. We are modernizing our payment capabilities to become a multi rail, omni channel payments ecosystem while delivering value to our merchants & partners simply, securely, and seamlessly.

How will you make an impact in this role?

We are seeking a Senior Associate who will focus on supporting and optimizing the Debit Product, this role offers the exciting opportunity to be part of a key strategic priority for the GMNS business.

This interesting role will offer a talented product associate the opportunity to work in exciting area of product management and contribute to driving the future of Debit by working with our key Issuing stakeholders. The Debit team is forward-thinking, creative, multi-functional and collaborative, working closely with partners across NAS and the wider organization:
  • Support strategic initiatives to develop capabilities and processes that support product objectives
  • Carry out research, data analysis and stakeholder engagement to bring clarity from white space
  • Creating documentation that is effective in telling tech and business stakeholders the product story and requirements to ensure delivery of a successful capability
  • Ensure the customer is put at the center of the product thinking by bringing together industry, Amex and product perspectives
  • Develop and execute on the Go to Market, including operational readiness for new solutions
  • Use industry insights to identify future product enhancement opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Comfortable adjusting quickly to shifting priorities and demands
  • Understanding of the role of product management
  • Preferred: Experience in the payments industry
