About the Role

As an Internal Business Development Manager, you'll be at the heart of the action, nurturing broker relationships, driving new business, and managing deal pipelines to deliver seamless results. Internal Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of brokers, cultivating long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with field-based Business Development Managers
  • Identify and nurture opportunities from broker networks and incoming leads to maximise revenue
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of deals, ensuring timely progress from inquiry to completion.
  • Assess loan applications, working with underwriting teams to structure viable, client-focused solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes
  • Consistently exceed revenue, relationship growth, and business development goals.
  • Provide senior management with updates on activity, pipeline performance, and market conditions.

  • Salary: £50,000 basic + lucrative commission structure.

Internal Business Development Manager Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 2 years in a business development role, preferably in Bridging Finance or property lending.
  • Strong understanding of the UK property market and short-term lending products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to achieving results.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations and compliance in the lending sector is advantageous.
