Compliance Monitoring Specialist

Cardiff (Hybrid - twice monthly in office)


This role is an excellent opportunity for someone to advance their career within the Insurance sector, whether as a next step or to move into the industry from wider FS.


It is a key position within the Compliance Monitoring function, as the most senior position within the team and gaining higher-level exposure in terms of stakeholder management, as the principal support for the Compliance Monitoring Manager and Head of Compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Completing reviews (monitoring, ad-hoc) to comply with regulations and optimise the customer experience
  • Provide comprehensive reports of any issues found (and/or agreed actions, roadmaps)
  • Input to the Annual Monitoring Plan
  • Act as a Compliance representative in high-level meetings, building strong relationships with stakeholders


Experience/Attributes Required

  • Worked in Financial Services and/or Insurance
  • 3+ years Compliance Monitoring experience
  • Ability to be organised, work collaboratively, think commercially
