Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential customers with in-house data centres, co-location needs, or those undergoing office moves or tech refreshes.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Present and promote DataVita’s services, focusing on sustainability, cost savings, and high-performance capabilities.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting DataVita’s advantages in sustainability, cost efficiency, and high-performance support.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Engage with customers to gather information about their data centre requirements, including location, type, power needs, PUE, and contract renewal dates.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on market demands and competition.
  • Sales Process Management:
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and pricing models tailored to the specific needs of each customer.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.



Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in selling data centre and cloud services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing new business.
  • Strong understanding of data centre solutions, including co-location, cloud services, and high-performance computing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with customers in the public sector, large organizations with high-security needs, or those with sustainability targets.
  • Familiarity with the environmental and financial benefits of relocating data centres to Scotland.
  • Knowledge of DataVita’s offerings and key messages, such as cost savings, sustainability, and advanced hosting capabilities​​.
