As such, our business is going from strength to strength and we're looking for a talented and experienced Revenue Professional to join our team on property, in this newly created role of Director of Revenue.
This hands-on role is integral to our Revenue function – in fact your role will be critical in driving the future success of our business. There's no “Head office” guiding (or inputting) your strategies, so this really IS a role, where you get to see the real impact of your decision making.
What you will be doing
Working very closely with the General Manager, and a key player in the commercial team, as Director of Revenue you will be responsible for:
- Optimising demand from all revenue streams, segments, and channels
- Implementing a proactive selling strategy to maximize revenue and profit associated with rooms, residences, events and food and beverage
- Achieving premium RevPAR and Trev PAR through effective forecasting, pricing, rate management, optimal market business mix, distribution channel mix and identifying risks
- Generating and analysing analytical reports across all revenue streams
- Monitoring daily transactions and day to day yielding opportunities.
- Rate plan creation, loading and mapping across all channels.
- Reservations & Events Manager reports directly to you, and you thereby have responsibility for the whole reservations and events team.
- Awareness, monitoring and report on the London Hotel market, our competitive set performance and our positioning in the marketplace.
- Active account management of key OTA partners.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual with a passion for working at a really high standard. You will have previous proven revenue management experience for a minimum of 3 years in a senior role, ideally with experience and understanding of both UK and international luxury markets within the hospitality or travel industry, in a hotel. You'll also need to demonstrate:
- IT and systems knowledge including (ideally) Opera PMS / Ideas / Excel / Siteminder / Synxis.
- Previous experience in using a channel management system.
- understanding of hotel distributions systems/revenue management
- accurate and analytical with an eye for data trends
- highly numerate, and an ability to prepare, analyse and use financial information
