Sales Engineer - Fire Alarm
Combining technical knowledge and customer focus to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Location: South West
Salary: OTE - £65k
- Collaborate with the South East Account Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise during the sales process, including product demonstrations and presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Technical Support
- Design and develop alarm system infrastructure tailored to client needs.
- Support the implementation of software solutions for Nurse Call and Fire Alarm systems.
- Conduct site surveys to determine system requirements and specifications.
- Prepare detailed proposals, tender responses, and quotations.
Client Engagement
- Attend site meetings to address technical and sales aspects of projects.
- Respond to client inquiries with prompt and accurate technical support.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Internal Collaboration
- Work with internal sales teams to align strategies and objectives.
- Coordinate with the aftersales team to provide ongoing client support.
- Partner with the project delivery team to ensure timely project completion.
Project Management
- Oversee technical aspects of project implementation.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor progress, addressing any issues during installation and commissioning.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of fire alarm systems.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on sales and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of software implementation processes and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant design and sales tools/software.
