As they continue to grow, they’re looking for an experienced Account Director to lead key client accounts, drive strategic initiatives, and foster strong client relationships. The Role

As the Account Director, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile B2B accounts, primarily within the technology sector. You’ll act as the strategic lead, working closely with clients to understand their business goals and delivering innovative, integrated marketing solutions that exceed expectations.

This role requires a confident leader with a strong understanding of digital marketing, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of managing B2B client relationships in a marketing agency environment.


Key Responsibilities


Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives and develop tailored marketing strategies to achieve them.


Strategic Account Leadership:

  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, social media, and other channels.
  • Ensure all campaigns are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with clients' goals.


Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor account managers and executives, ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, and data teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.


Financial Management:

  • Oversee account budgets, ensuring profitability and accurate forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional services.


Thought Leadership:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly within B2B marketing and the tech sector.
  • Offer strategic insights and advice to clients to position the agency as a trusted partner.


Key Skills & Experience


Agency Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a digital-first integrated marketing agency.
  • Expertise in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on tech clients.


Strategic Thinking:

  • Ability to develop and execute complex, multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid media, SEO, social media, and marketing automation.


Client Management:

  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a client-centric approach.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.


Leadership Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.


Commercial Acumen:

  • Strong financial management skills, with a proven ability to manage budgets and deliver account growth.


Additional Skills:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and platforms, including CRM and analytics software, is highly desirable.
