Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + bonus & benefits

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
Role Overview: As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the brokerage adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will play a key role in supporting the business in managing risk, maintaining compliance with FCA and other regulatory bodies, and ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework tailored to private medical insurance.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the business remains compliant with FCA regulations, Data Protection Act, and other applicable laws.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert advice on compliance matters to senior management and departments across the organisation.
- Oversee the training and development of staff on regulatory and compliance matters, including data protection and conduct risk.
- Liaise with external regulators and auditors as required.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance-related issues or breaches, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Compliance Manager or similar role within the insurance or financial services industry (preferably in private medical insurance).
- In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations, GDPR, and other relevant compliance requirements within the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of private medical insurance products and the regulatory environment around them.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
