Role Overview:

The business development representative will be responsible for generating leads through cold calling, handling objections, and scheduling meetings with prospects for our sales team. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in cold calling within the Tech industry and an ability to communicate complex product features effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 200-400 cold calls weekly to generate leads and qualify prospects.
  • Handle objections with confidence, clearly explaining the value proposition of Arwen AI’s solutions.
  • Schedule meetings with qualified leads for the sales team and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Keep the sales team updated on weekly performance, including progress toward targets.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss performance, strategy, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated with product features, enhancements, and updates to effectively communicate them to prospects.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.


Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Tech Sector lead generation through cold calling.
  • Strong communication and objection-handling skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate Software product benefits and technical features.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work remotely with a self-motivated attitude.
  • Must own a laptop and headset for remote work (all other software and data will be provided).
  • Applicants must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work (this is a non-sponsored position).


Compensation & Perks:

  • Base pay of £20 per hour.
  • Commission available for successful demo’s booked.
  • Opportunity for this contractual role to convert into a full-time position after 3-6 months based on performance.


Performance Expectations:

  • Make 200-400 calls per week, aiming to qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.


Hiring Process:

  1. First-round interview with the Marketing Exec.
  2. Second-round interview with a Sales Exec and CEO.
