We are seeking a Finance & Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll, pension, and financial operations. You’ll ensure that employees are compensated correctly, handled efficiently, and financial records are kept up to date.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Accurately manage the monthly payroll, ensuring all salaries, bonuses, overtime, and statutory payments—are processed on time and in compliance with UK regulations.
  • Administer employee pension schemes, handling auto-enrolment, contributions, and any queries employees may have about their pension benefits.
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports, ensuring accurate reconciliation of payroll costs, tax, and National Insurance contributions.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll and pension records, ensuring all processes comply with relevant legislation and internal policies, and support audits when required.


Essential Skills and Experience:


  • Proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of UK tax codes, NI contributions, and pension regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Excel skills for financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


Desirable Skills:


  • Experience working in a large organisation or public sector payroll.
  • Relevant qualifications (CIPP or AAT) are a bonus but not essential.
