What you’ll be doing
- Ownership and maintenance of a control framework that mitigates CASS risks.
- Oversee and strengthen the CASS control environment
- Ensuring appropriate CASS systems and controls are in place to identify, assess, monitor, manage, report and mitigate key CASS risks
- Oversight of the operational effectiveness of CASS systems and controls that are designed to achieve compliance with CASS.
- Ensuring all notifiable CASS escalation events and relevant breaches are reported to the FCA
- Reporting to the firms governing body in respect of CASS oversight.
- Support clear career progression and development opportunities in the team to maximise colleague engagement and retention.
What's required
- A strong track record in CASS operations, with extensive knowledge of CASS reconciliations, CASS operational processes, risks and controls.
- Ideally a background in Investments and a good understanding of investment products/asset classes.
- Experience of line management in a similar role
- Ability to translate CASS requirements and implement CASS operationally
- Experience of managing the end to end CASS audit process
- Strong stakeholder management skills for internal and external relationships
