About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Associate to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our Client Facing team, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating operational risk issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Risk Management: Identify and analyze operational risk issues, developing strategies for mitigation and ensuring the effectiveness of controls.
  • Process Enhancement: Enhance processes and develop smarter outcomes to drive down key risk indicators (KRIs), including CASS breaches and operational events.
  • Control-Based Solutions: Proactively sample processes to identify opportunities for improvement and create control-based solutions.
  • Reporting and Training: Prepare for meetings and focus groups, including the production of materials and other initiatives. Monitor KRIs, Management Information, and other relevant data. Organize and deliver targeted training for Client Facing Teams across multiple office locations, as required.
  • Results-Oriented: Ensure timely delivery of expected outcomes and regular management reporting.
Requirements
  • Risk Management Expertise: An understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Good standard of written and spoken English, including report writing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in numerical analysis and MS Office 365.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work without supervision once a task is set.
  • Initiative: Initiative to suggest solutions and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organized, focused, confident, and calm under pressure.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Wealth/Asset management is preferable, but not essential.
