Responsibilities

Working as an Accounts & Tax Manager, and reporting into the Director. Will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and individuals. Will also be required to carry out preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, so knowledge and experience of this will also be required. Will also be responsible for the management of junior and other staff members, so the ability to delegate and review work is essential. Based in our Chester office and working as part of a team of 10. Overall reporting line into Director.


Qualifications

Experience in an accountancy practice – minimum of 5 years required.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

Ability to speak with and advise clients.

Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation.

Knowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essential.

Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
