Job Opportunity: Mixed Tax Assistant Manager

Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is currently working with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager to their team.

Job Summary:

The successful person will be responsible for their own mixed portfolio of Personal & Corporate clients, whilst also providing ad-hoc support to the partners on specialist advisory and consulting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and businesses of varying sizes.
  • Providing technical support and guidance on tax compliance matters.
  • Undertaking research of technical legislation, HMRC manuals and guidance.
  • Using tax return software, ideally CCH.

Requirements:

  • ATT Qualified, ACCA / ACA Qualified, or studying towards CTA Part or Fully Qualified.
  • Excellent experience of undertaking both corporate and personal tax work within a practice environment.
  • Experience in preparing self-assessment tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships.
  • Experience in preparing corporation tax computations and company tax returns.
