Tax Accountant/Tax Advisor Opportunity

This is a full-time position for a strategic financial leader at a highly respected Accountancy firm based in Chester. The company is known for promoting internal progression and providing exceptional support to its staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze changing tax legislation in the UK and overseas
  • Meet with clients and gather information
  • Work with tax law and revenue provisions
  • Liaise and negotiate with HMRC on behalf of the client
  • Develop tax strategies for clients and plan their financial futures
  • Perform detailed computations to calculate tax liability and advise on minimizing client liability
  • Establish and structure family trusts
  • Estate planning and advising on tax residence and domicile matters

Required Skills and Experience:
  • ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified accountant
  • CTA Qualified is preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
