We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our software client.


MFK Recruitment has successfully recruited 16 individuals for this company in the past 4 years. They are at a significant stage of growth and are looking for an SDR to join their growing team.


The annual salary for this opportunity is £30k - £35k, with an additional £15k in commission.

My client is a market leader in Software Testing and Quality Management solutions. They have been recognized by the most influential independent software quality analyst firms covering the application development lifecycle space.


SDR – Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this is an opportunity for a highly self-motivated individual to take a significant step forward with their sales career. We are looking for someone who will grow and make this role their own and is keen to develop further whether in Sales or elsewhere in the organisation.


Sales Development Representative – Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the key sales messages and market needs.
  • Build a list of target accounts and contacts with the necessary tools
  • Follow up on Marketing qualified leads - downloads, registrations and nurture
  • Proactively reach out to prospect via phone, email SM etc to generate business opportunities
  • Set up meetings and calls for the sales team to progress.
  • Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the CRM system


Sales Development Representative - Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Prior Business Development experience in B2B software
  • Ideally educated to degree level.
  • If you are technically minded or sufficiently fluid in a second language that would be advantageous
  • Prior use of marketing tools e.g. CRM, outreach tools (Salesforce, Sales Loft, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Good organisation skills
  • High level of motivation and determination
  • Articulate and able to communicate well both internally and externally


Location:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the role will be based remotely with quarterly meetups in the Basingstoke area.
