WBC Group (WESTERN BUILDING CONSULTANTS LTD) in our Bristol and Bath offices offer a full range of surveying, structural engineering and architectural design services tailored to contractors, developers, and homeowners. Due to the continued sucess and expansion of the the team we are looking for a a high energy residential building surveyor to join our multi-disciplinary team and help drive our surveying function forward.



Our professional services include party wall surveys, building surveys, structural surveys, and contract administration. The practice is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and CIAT, providing comprehensive design solutions for domestic and commercial projects. Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid role for a Residential Building Surveyor at WBC Group. The Surveyor will be responsible for production of level 2 Homebuyers and Level 3 Full Building Surveys. Some remote work is acceptable, and the role will require some travel to Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol Etc. The right candidate will get opportunities in time to train other skills such as party wall, defect analysis, CDM Principal Designer and Contract Administration.


Qualifications Required


  • Building Pathology Skills
  • Knowledge of building regulations and construction techniques
  • MRICS or AssocRICS Qualification
  • Experience producing residential reports
  • Knowledge of Residential Building Techniques
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication
  • RICS degree or SAVA training
