A food business who make some exciting and well known supermarket products are looking for a Account Manager to join their sales team. You can find their products in the likes of Asda, M&S and Aldi.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that any changes to the sales forecast are communicated to the relevant buying teams.
- Analyse the orders that come into the business to ensure all are in alignment with expectations-communicating with the retailer in the instance of any issues or missed sales opportunities.
- Understand and maintain the customers Profit and Loss account understanding how costs are made up
- Developing strong working relationships with internal teams within Buying, Technical, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and NPD.
- Driving category relationships across core retail customers and being the main interface between the retail customers and the internal teams
- Issuing of commercial sales reports.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role. FMCG industry would be beneficial but isn't essential.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong IT skills & competency
- Listening & influencing
- Strong presentation skills - comfortable presenting internally / externally to all levels
- Self-motivated individual
- Enjoyment of food and an appreciation of the wider food industry and supply chain
Must be West Midlands based as its site based.
£33-£35k salary DOE
Site based with travel to see customers as needed
