As a Field Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth within your assigned geographical area, focusing on professional hair and beauty salons. This position requires you to reside in the designated area and entails frequent travel to various locations. You will leverage your business acumen to effectively promote and sell professional products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve overall business goals.
  • Conduct regular visits to professional hair and beauty salons to foster relationships and drive sales.
  • Build and maintain a strong lead list of potential salon prospects to expand market presence.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform face-to-face account management, identifying client needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales & Training Manager and team members to align with corporate directives and strategies.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and promote the brand.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years of on-the-road sales experience is essential.
  • Background in the hair and beauty industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, with a focus on persuasive techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, trustworthy business relationships.
  • Results-driven with a commitment to achieving individual and team targets across all business sectors.
  • Proficient in negotiation and selling techniques.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to respond to customer needs.
  • A professional 'get it done' attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Remuneration Package:

  • Salary Range: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus Scheme: Partly uncapped with OTE Bonus of £20,000 PA
  • Benefits: Company car, pension scheme, health care scheme, life assurance, hair allowance.
