Contract Management:

  • Identify trends in customer service and implement both proactive and reactive strategies to enhance performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client concerns, advocating for their needs within the business, and ensuring all commitments are fulfilled.
  • Conduct regular formal reviews with clients in your portfolio.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of client relationships, including timely invoicing and handling contractual variations.
  • Develop multi-level relationships with key customer contacts to position the company for future opportunities aligned with business strategy.
  • Continuously seek and implement service level improvements, cost-saving measures, and optimization initiatives for each client.
  • Monitor operational parameters specific to each contract and proactively identify areas for improvement.


Carrier Management:

  • Oversee the management of agency and subcontractor (Suppliers) relationships, negotiating fair and competitive rates, and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Suppliers.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure Suppliers meet the highest safety and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and agreed service level agreements (SLAs) by Suppliers.
  • Design and manage tenders for Suppliers, agreeing on contract terms and SLAs.


Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve continuous improvement in safety, service, cost, and efficiency for your managed contracts.
  • Enhance the profitability of each managed contract.
  • Identify and provide information on new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate improved results in customer audits compared to previous outcomes.
  • Maintain high safety and service standards provided by external Suppliers.


Qualifications / Experience / Skills:

  • Proven experience in client management within the transport sector.
  • Experience managing relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, or agencies.
  • Strong communication skills.


Authority:

  • Authorized to interact with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
