My client is a global recruitment business operating within 2 sectors on a huge growth journey


As a member of my clients legal team, you will provide legal advice and assistance across various

international regions in which the group operates.


You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, providing international compliance advice, and assisting with commercial litigation.


The successful candidate shall be a key point of contact for persons across the business looking for support and assistance from the busy in-house legal team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:


· Review and advise the business on contractual terms, highlighting risks, offering explanations

and proposals in line with the established legal process.

· Drafting, reviewing and negotiating standard and non-standard client contracts, candidate

contracts (with independent contractors, PSCs or suppliers) and other commercial agreements

in accordance with business guidelines.

· Advise the sales team on international compliance queries

· Understand and apply UK and EU Rules of Engagement

· Understand compliance risks and how these can be managed effectively.


PERSON SPECIFICATION:


· Enthusiastic, proactive attitude, with a flexible approach and the ability to multi-task.

· Ability to prioritise matters in line with business needs, manage expectations and meet

deadlines

· Good attention to detail, process driven and methodical.

· Flexibility and adaptability. Able to manage various tasks under pressure

· Good judgement and decision making

· Able to adapt communication style to the relevant audience

· Obtain relevant facts on a matter through effective questions, recognising when and what

additional information is needed.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Legal degree

· Pro-activity, organisation and time management skills

· Ability to work confidently and independently

· Prior experience within legal practice (either private practice or in-house)

· Effective in both verbal and written communications and have the ability to communicate

confidently at all levels of authority within the organisation
