Founded in Montreal 36 years ago, Air Transat is a leading travel brand voted World's Best Leisure Airline by passengers at the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to manage and develop our UK+I trade business.

Based from our London office (Hybrid working). Reporting directly into our UK Commercial Director, you will work closely with the whole team to manage and develop existing accounts and seek new business for the airline.


Key Responsibilities include


  • Management of Trade Partner Accounts (i.e. OTA’s/Leisure Agents/Tour Operators etc.)
  • Development of Air Transat’s relationship with the TMC’s and the business travel market
  • Development of the Country’s Sales Strategic Plan in alignment with the Commercial Director
  • Ensuring sales & revenue targets are surpassed
  • Collaboration cross-functionally to review pricing, market penetration, and relevant KPIs
  • Preparation, negotiation and management of annual commercial agreements
  • Managing budgets for trade activity
  • Scheduling & hosting agency training events/aircraft visits/FAM trips etc
  • Participation in Travel Trade shows and other sales events (UK wide)
  • Keeping partners abreast of TS product changes, promotions etc
  • Keeping abreast of competitor/industry products/news
  • Supporting the wider team with travel trade queries


Knowledge and Experience


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar airline role
  • Strong numeracy, analytical skills and high computer literacy, with ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Educated to degree level
  • Budgeting experience
  • Excellent communicator (verbal, written and online) and presentation skills
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks at same time
  • Self-reliant and independent working ability
  • Team player - desire to work as an influential member of the team. Able to collaborate at a distance.
  • Hands on approach to work and a can-do attitude
  • Passionate about Travel/Canada
