Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team specializing in conveyor and material handling systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, material handling solutions, and a proven track record in technical sales.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the conveyor and material handling systems market.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential customers.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to provide effective solutions.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Offer technical guidance and support to customers regarding conveyor and material handling systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure solutions meet customer specifications and requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors.
  1. Proposal and Contract Management:
  • Prepare detailed proposals, including cost estimates and project timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and report on sales activities and forecasts.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team for potential new products and enhancements.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the project management team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Mentor and train junior sales staff as required.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the conveyor and material handling systems industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial automation and material handling solutions.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical
