A growing energy client in London are looking to bring in a HR Generalist, who is a self starter.

This role supports the Regional HR Manager in overseeing HR operations for the client's European offices.

The client offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule and ample opportunities for development within a growing team and company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for UK employment inquiries
  • Manage recruitment efforts, including job advertisements, resume screening, initial interviews, and coordination with hiring managers
  • Collect and maintain interview feedback in the ATS
  • Represent the client at university career fairs
  • Source talent for the client's Academia program, aligning with the company’s hiring strategy
  • Assist new hires with orientation, training materials, and onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits enrolment
  • Develop and coordinate training initiatives and team-building activities for the London office
  • Administer payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Collaborate with the Regional HR Manager on payroll processing, benefits administration, and pre-employment screenings
  • Manage employee communications and resolve interpersonal issues, acting as a trusted intermediary
  • Keep company documents and policies updated, ensuring employees understand company regulations
  • Develop and maintain benefits administration and pension schemes
  • Stay informed on HR trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Assist with HR reporting and audit requests
  • Manage the immigration process for employees requiring visas
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to implement HR strategies that support business objectives and growth


Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, or related field
  • HR certifications are a plus
  • Experience with BambooHR or another HRIS is a plus
  • Knowledge of HR policies and labour laws
  • Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
