DKF are on the lookout for an Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to join one of our clients based in the East Midlands. With nearly 20 years’ experience, this market leader offers the full range of asbestos services including training, asbestos surveys, removal, waste disposal and collection, air testing and contaminated land remediation.


Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now keen to add another Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to their team to estimate and run various commercial and domestic projects, including sites within education, healthcare and high street names.


The Contracts Manager role will involve assisting the existing management team in the day-to-day operations. This will include playing a vital role by ensuring contracts complete in a safe, profitable, and timely fashion whilst delivering the highest levels of service and client satisfaction throughout. Pricing works, directly managing multiple on-going projects, and developing new opportunities are essential elements of this role.



What your core responsibilities would be:

  • Identify and develop new business leads, whilst maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Confidently manage, control and oversee all aspects of the contracts, from start to finish.
  • Prepare all Risk Assessments/Method Statements, relaying all information contained in site specific Risk Assessments/Method Statements to site personnel to maintain full understanding.
  • Understand all financial aspects of the management process coherently from start to finish in accordance with company policies and procedures and to ensure contracts are invoiced correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels within the organisation (Directors, Site Managers, Site Operatives and Sub-Contractors).


To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • In date ARCA, or equivalent, Licenced Contracts Manager Refresher.
  • Extensive industry experience, inclusive of all asbestos legislation.
  • Capability to organise and run several varied projects.
  • Fully aware of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation with the ability to assess and then produce Risk Assessment, Method Statements and Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide to undertake required Asbestos Services.
  • Full, Clean UK Driving Licence.
