About the Role:


Our client are implementing Workday (Core HCM, Core Compensation, Absence, Talent, Recruiting) across 13 countries. They require an experienced and seasoned Workday professional to join a fast-paced implementation/go-live environment on a 3 - 4-month contract to supplement the team with their experience across various Workday modules.


Through the course of the project, our client is building a list of requirements (outside of the project SoW) which will need to be addressed during the period between HR and Business go-live.


Using their Workday experience, the HR Systems Analyst / Consultant will review the requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to define, design and then configure the system to optimise Workday using a rigorous approach to testing and release of the changes.


The HR Systems Analyst / Consultant will also provide technical support and troubleshooting as part of an HR Systems team supporting an HR function within the context of the rollout of a new HRIS.


The ideal candidate will have the experience and knowledge to be able to pick up high-level requirements, quickly understand them within the context of the Workday modules in scope and the client's build and then be able to ask the right questions to key stakeholders to design and build the solution.


The HR Systems Analyst/Consultant will report to the Global Head of HR Systems and primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:


System Maintenance and Support:

Administer and maintain the Workday HRIS, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

Provide second-line support for Workday-related issues and troubleshoot system problems.


Configuration and Optimisation:

Configure and test new functionalities, business processes, and modules in Workday.

Analyse and optimise HR workflows and processes within Workday to increase efficiency.


Reporting and Analytics:

o Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support HR and business operations. o Provide data analysis and insights to HR and management teams.

o Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.


User Training and Documentation:

o Conduct training sessions for HR staff and end-users on Workday functionalities and best practices.

o Create and update user manuals, guides, and documentation.

o Serve as a point of contact for user inquiries and provide ongoing support.


Project Management:

o Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and implementations.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

o Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders.


EXPERIENCE


What You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Workday HRIS, including configuration and support

• Experience in HR processes and data management

• Project management experience is a plus

• Proficiency in a minimum of two Workday modules across HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent, Recruiting, Reporting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Workday certifications are highly desirable but not essential
