The Role
As Head of Growth, you will take charge of all revenue and sales activities, with a focus on new business development, marketing communications, and pipeline management. This is a highly strategic role, akin to a Chief Revenue Officer, but with the expectation of being hands-on in execution.
This role is critical in driving transformational growth, elevating sales conversations to the C-suite level, and expanding the company's footprint across enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for managing long-lead, big-ticket opportunities, ensuring the organisation moves away from modular project-based selling to comprehensive, sophisticated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a growth strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets (north of £10m annually).
- Reporting to the CEO, you will own the sales pipeline from top to middle funnel, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive new business opportunities across EMEA, with a focus on the martech and customer intelligence sectors.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, particularly within the C-suite, to establish the company as a strategic partner.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to design and deliver comprehensive, high-value solutions for enterprise clients.
- Represent the company in the EMEA martech and partner landscape, participating in industry events and building strategic alliances.
- Play a lead role in networking and communicating the value proposition across owned and social channels.
- Provide thought leadership to elevate the company’s reputation in the customer intelligence space.
Skills and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Extensive sales leadership experience: A proven track record in martech, customer intelligence, or a related consultancy environment.
- Consultative selling skills: Capable of elevating conversations to the C-suite level and selling long-lead, big-ticket enterprise solutions.
- New business development expertise: Strong ability to create and convert opportunities, backed by a deep network within the EMEA region and martech partner ecosystems.
- Revenue growth acumen: Comfortable with managing and achieving ambitious revenue targets and driving change to optimise sales performance.
- Martech and data knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing technology, customer intelligence, and platforms like Salesforce.
- Leadership skills: Ability to inspire and elevate a small team while driving individual and collective performance.
- Client-first mindset: Skilled at building trust and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across complex accounts.
- Marketing communication abilities: Strong in content creation, messaging, and strategic communications to enhance brand positioning.
