Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven EV Software Sales Lead to spearhead our sales efforts in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) sector. This role involves leading the sales strategy for our innovative EV software solutions, targeting key stakeholders such as charging infrastructure providers, fleet operators, energy companies, and public sector organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales, a deep understanding of the EV ecosystem, and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the EV software market, identifying key target sectors and opportunities.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Generate and nurture leads, building a robust pipeline of opportunities through networking, prospecting, and partnerships.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their business needs and offering tailored software solutions that enhance their EV operations.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's EV software portfolio, including charge point management systems (CPMS), fleet management solutions, energy optimization software, and more.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product development and go-to-market efforts.
  • Presentations & Demos: Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the software’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to senior management, highlighting progress, opportunities, and challenges.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of software sales experience, preferably within the EV, energy, or mobility sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, energy management, or fleet operations is highly desirable.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a consultative and solutions-based sales approach.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong contract negotiation and closing skills, with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with software platforms, SaaS sales, and an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
