We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to join their Sales team on a permanent basis. This will be a site-based role, you will provide account management responsibilities for a small portfolio of key customers, you will provide product information, availability and pricing whilst working with internal teams to build technical sales quotes.


Responsibilities Include

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, gaining a clear understanding of their business needs and future forecasting
  • Manage internal sales quote process which will include completion of product specification documentation, updating ERP and SharePoint systems, gathering required technical data from a number of internal departments and meeting required quotation deadline
  • Liaise and negotiate with internal teams and Stakeholders including engineering, quality, procurement etc
  • Follow up with customers on sales quotations
  • Arrange internal project "kick off" meeting on customer approval of sales quotes
  • Keep in regular contact with key customers which will include driving virtual meetings and occasional UK travel for onsite client meetings if required
  • Point of contact for customers throughout lifecycle of sales process right through to delivery
  • Deal with approved suppliers in order to source required raw material to support sales quotes if required


Person Required

  • Experience on providing account management &/or sales quotation activities
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships remotely over the phone and face to face with customers and internal teams
  • Confident, resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational, prioritisation and accuracy skills, able to follow a process and meet deadlines
  • Confident IT skills including MS Office, CRM, ERP and SharePoint would be an advantage
