When you start with a new employer you expect your contract to be with you on time with all the detail correct and as agreed. Its important for all parties involved and we take a pride in getting it right. But getting it right is not the same as providing an experience so exceptional that people talk about it and see it as a reflection of the organisation.

So, if you can bring a level of organisational skills that could launch a spacecraft, a degree of precision that would shame a watchmaker and the bold ambition to win awards… then we should most certainly talk. In the meantime:

Here’s what you get in return

  • A package of reward that includes a very generous contributory pension, a cafeteria style benefits offer including Green Commute cycle to work scheme, health and dental, life insurance and more
  • A focus on wellbeing and personal development to help you thrive and grow
  • The opportunity to be part of a network of Oasis charities offering opportunities to develop your career in new directions and locations

  • And of course, a positive and motivational environment set up to ensure everyone is supported and included

What do we do?

At Oasis it is our purpose and vision to enable everyone to fulfil their potential – regardless of background, circumstance or label. We are proud of why we exist and what we bring to the communities in which we operate. Our story is told through a multi-faceted organisation that extends across support for homelessness and housing (Oasis Community Housing), secure education for young people (Oasis Restore), community hubs (OCL) and human trafficking (Stop The Traffik) and of course our network of 52 Oasis Academies (Oasis Community Learning). We are proud that we don’t just talk a good game – we actively engage and change lives for the better.

What you’ll be doing

The purpose of this role is to provide an excellent employee experience through the following and more:

• Producing contracts of employment, contract changes, offer letters and onboarding collateral for new hires in line with our SLAs.

• Completing visa applications and pre-employment checks for employees in line with our policies.

• Creating and maintaining accurate records on all relevant systems and trackers for all new hires.

• Ensuring compliance with our policies and data protection regulations when handling candidate and employee data.

• Collaborating with other internal teams to ensure efficient onboarding and act as a point of contact for new hire queries and issues, ensuring prompt resolution and escalation when necessary.

What else we’re looking for

• Experience in a busy contract administration role, ideally within an HR department.

• A strong level of proficiency with IT systems including MS Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively in all situations.

• Proactive with a solutions drive approach

• Demonstrable commitment to maintaining high levels of confidentiality and timely delivery for stakeholders.

What next

If you’d be interested to explore this opportunity further, we’d invite you initially to send us your CV to our recruitment contact at Highfield Partners. Once Tom and the team have reviewed them all, they will conduct informal meetings with those most closely matching the description outlined above. Successful candidates will then progress to our more formalised application stages, which will include completing our application form and our assessment phase. We aim to conclude our selections by early January.
