Key role objective

The principal function of this position is to provide administrative support to the HR Manager, ensuring the efficient operations of HR processes and contributing to the overall employee experience. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

HR Manager (Line Manager)


Key areas of responsibility

Maintain and update employee records and databases.

Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, candidate vetting and conducting reference checks.

Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials.

Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

Support payroll processing by providing relevant employee information and documentation.

Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.

Organize and maintain HR files and records in compliance with legal requirements.

Assist with performance management processes and employee evaluations.

Coordinate training sessions and workshops.

Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.


Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within HR.

Experience with internal recruitment desirable but not essential.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with HR software and databases.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.


Working Conditions

The role is office based at our head office in Kings Langley. Working hours are from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1-hour unpaid lunch per day.


Physical Requirements

The role requires regular use of a Visual Display Unit (VDU) as part of their day-to-day activities.
