We are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to be a strategic and tactical partner, providing excellence in all aspects of the HR function; coaching and enabling managers in people management, providing a proactive end to end comprehensive HR service.


The successful candidate will:


  • Create and build positive and collaborative working relationships with management teams and other key stakeholders to understand how the role can best facilitate business strategies and critical issues
  • Provide advice, support, coaching and enable the upskilling of managers on HR matters including all aspects of employee relations and dispute resolution, absence and performance management, and a wide range of other HR related issues
  • Act as the subject matter experts for all employees, regarding employee relations and other HR/operational matters with support from the HRA’s
  • Assist in developing and promoting diversity and inclusion strategies within your business areas and across the group. Acting as an agent for change
  • Actively participate in Senior Management Team meetings, providing valuable input to the people agenda and wider business discussion. Contributing to the improvement of margin and financial performance


The successful candidate will have:


  • The ability to influence senior stakeholder groups, strong organisational skills and manage ambiguity
  • The ability to demonstrate a commercial understanding and awareness of cost management, ROI, margin optimisation and impact of workforce planning
  • Experience of managing complex TUPE and redundancies
  • Proven experience of creating and delivering employment law based training sessions
  • 3 years+ managing a high volume ER case load with experience of employment tribunals
  • Solid employment law knowledge
  • This is a field based position so you must be able to regularly travel
