Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Events manager to look after our stunning venue, Dear Darling, located in the iconic Mayfair district.

As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a variety of events that align with our companys objectives and vision. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

-Collaborate with the Head of Sales to devise effective sales strategies, business development initiatives, and proactive sales opportunities.

Event Planning & Coordination:

-Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, corporate events, product launches, workshops and social events

-Develop detailed event plans, timeline, and budgets

-Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are managed efficiently

Lead Generation & Relationship Building:

-Map potential customers, generate leads, and nurture relationships with existing and new clients.

-Represent CREAM GROUP Ltd at meetings, events, and trade shows to expand the client base and secure new business leads.

On-site Event Management

-Oversee all on-site event arrangements, create detailed event sheets in advance for a succesful handover to the operations team. In some cases you may be required to stay for the start of your events and you will receive time back in these cases.

Post-Event Analysis:

-Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and measure event success.

-Analyze event outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Partnership Cultivation:

-Create new revenue streams by establishing successful partnerships with Brands, Promoters, and Corporate clients.

-Identify investment opportunities and potential threats to accurately forecast the events sales budget.

Client Account Management:

-Identify and manage key client accounts to drive events sales and foster growth.

-Conduct follow-ups on new business opportunities, organize meetings, and deliver compelling pitches and presentations.

Networking & Collaboration:

-Develop relationships and partnerships with event agencies, third parties, and industry associations to maximize sales opportunities.

-Collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital, and Social Media teams to optimize sales strategies and capitalize on opportunities.

VIP and Celebrity Engagement:

-Liaise with influencer or celebrity clients across CREAM GROUP venues, fostering and growing these relationships.

-Drive press and PR for venues through VIP and celebrity guest engagement.

Specialty Event Development:

-Conceptualize and develop in-house events to bolster sales and create unique experiences for customers.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a variety of events.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
