Hilton Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Events Manager to join our team. As a Sales and Events Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and events process, working closely with the hotel team to achieve pre-established goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the sales coordinators to deliver standard services to customers and achieve financial goals.
- Visit customers with the sales manager to guarantee the success of major groups and events.
- Engage in negotiations for groups and events to maximize results.
- Coordinate the function meeting with vital information about upcoming groups and events.
- Promote hotel facilities and understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
- Organize hotel visits and manage unexpected requests.
- Act as the liaison between clients and hotel staff when necessary.
- Collaborate with sales managers and revenue management to ensure the sales process is completed and up to date.
- Update daily sales activities in hotel systems, ensuring accuracy for the groups report.
- Assess commission reports for groups, events, and food and beverage.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree or MBA in management, hospitality, or marketing.
- Fluent in English; a second language is desirable.
- Previous experience in sales and events/banquets, preferably in a hotel, with leadership and supervisory experience.
- Critical analysis skills to strategically evaluate sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of product and marketing, including hotel operations and team organization.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
