Role Responsibilities


1. Compensation Strategy:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals, market dynamics, and industry standards.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to ensure that the organisation's global compensation packages remain competitive and attractive.
  • Design, implement, and manage job evaluation and grading systems to maintain internal equity and consistency across the organisation.


2. Benefits Management:


  • Oversee the creation and administration of employee benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of current benefits offerings and recommend improvements or changes to meet employee needs and organisational goals.


3. Performance Management:


  • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to integrate compensation and benefits programs with performance management systems, recognising and rewarding top performers.
  • Develop incentive and bonus structures that enhance employee motivation and drive the achievement of business objectives.


4. Compliance and Governance:


  • Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep updated on changes in employment laws, tax regulations, and other relevant compliance issues, making necessary adjustments to programs.


5. Communication and Education:


  • Create clear and effective communication plans to inform employees about compensation and benefits programs.
  • Deliver training to HR teams, line managers, and staff to ensure they understand and effectively use these programs.


6. Vendor Management:


  • Oversee relationships with external vendors, such as benefits providers and compensation consultants.
  • Assess vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and recommend improvements to service offerings.


7. Data Analysis and Reporting:


  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to compensation and benefits to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
