DKF are excited to be recruiting for an Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager for our client, an award-winning Asbestos Removal and Abatement Contractor.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to add another Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to their team to estimate and run various projects. The successful candidate, based out of their office in Liverpool, will assist with a wide range of projects across a variety of clients including the NHS, universities, schools and housing associations. The vast majority of these projects are located in the North West, however occasional nationwide travel may be required.
The Contracts Manager role will involve working directly with the Managing Director ensuring high levels of health and safety compliance as well as assisting to structure the culture of the company.
What your core responsibilities would be:
- To confidently manage, control and oversee all aspects of the contracts from initial enquiry through to job completion.
- Developing new business leads and maintaining client bases, as well as providing quotes to clients.
- Ensure contracts are being carried out on site to a high standard and compliant with all health and safety regulations, whilst liaising with clients throughout.
- To understand all financial aspects of the management process coherently from start to finish in accordance with company policies and procedures and to ensure contracts are invoiced correctly.
- Preparing all plans of work, Risk Assessments/Method Statements in line with company policies and procedures.
- Relaying all information contained in site specific risk assessments/method statements to site personnel to maintain full understanding.
- Carry out internal site audits to check Risk Assessments/Method Statements are being complied with.
- Manage staff to ensure all training requirements are met and they are providing a high-quality service to all clients.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience working as a Contracts Manager in the Asbestos Removal industry.
- Asbestos Removal Manager CSCS Card (Black Card).
- In date ARCA/ACAD Contracts Manager Training.
- In date Asbestos Medical, Face Fits and Mask Service.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Must be IT literate and have experience using a tablet/PDA.
- Good communication, literacy, and organisation skills.
- Fully aware of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation with the ability to assess and then produce Risk Assessment, Method Statements and Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans.
