We are looking for a highly organised candidate to join the in-house events team at The Stylist Group on a fixed term contract until the end of November 2024. The main focus of this role will be to work on Stylist Live; our flagship, three-day festival of inspiration.


This position will suit an individual who is seeking a career within the events industry. We are looking for a candidate who is highly organised, has experience of working in a customer facing role and who is happy to get involved with many different aspects of events.


The role:

  • Support the sourcing, negotiation and management of external suppliers (E.g. Venues, AV suppliers, printers, florists, security and venues)
  • Responsible for the administrative side of all large events. Jobs include the event booking, and/or RSVP process and all associated communications with guests, guest list management, onsite guest check-in experience, courier booking and invoice managements
  • Update existing spreadsheets with new venues, suppliers with up-to-date contacts and details
  • Provide operational support for the Stylist Events Team onsite at all events
  • Manage event inventory and ensure it is up to date. Liaise with office manager to ensure event stock is stored correctly
  • Ensure a tidy working area for the team
  • Sourcing and itemising everything needed for and event and ensuring it all arrived on-site when required
  • Souring and packing goody bag items and managing an inventory for these for every event
  • Implement excellent organizational systems and processes that support the events team – continually manage and improve these, suggesting new processes and/or software where relevant
  • Organise travel tickets, couriers, taxis and ensure this is kept within budget allocated
  • Good knowledge of events in London and updating the team on these
  • To maintain a fine understanding of the tastes and interests of our readers when choosing event partners
  • To represent the company in a professional and appropriate manner when liaising with suppliers, contractors and other third-party companies
