Operations Assistant - Full Time

Location: Guildford, UK - office based

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Fixed Term Contract: Until March 2026

Established in 2005, our client is a family-run HR outsourcing consultancy based in Guildford, offering tailored HR support to small and medium businesses. They provide flexible, people-focused HR solutions to a wide and varied client bases.

About the Role:

As their Operations Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of their office operations, ensuring a smooth, organised environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Having oversight of the consultancy team diaries and emails ensuring clients' needs are met and time is recorded accurately.
  • Working with the finance team to ensure the invoicing is accurate, timely and client queries are handled.
  • Manage the client contract process and deal with contract renewals.
  • Track company KPI’s.
  • Managing and organising company events.
  • Coordinating meetings, bookings, and ensuring new leads are dealt with by the relevant people.
  • Assisting with new team member onboarding and setup (e.g. logins, systems access).
  • Managing office supplies and vendor relationships.
  • Answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling inquiries.
  • Supporting team projects and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining a welcoming workspace for team members—and their dogs

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a similar role, ideally in the professional services industry. The ability to multitask and attention to detail is essential to be successful in this role.
