Job Overview:

As Marketing Manager at Armadilla, you will play a crucial role in driving the marketing activity; creating and executing effective marketing campaigns across the two sides of our business; hospitality and education. You will collaborate closely with various team members including senior management to ensure the successful implementation of our activities that drive brand awareness, engagement, and, ultimately business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to create and curate compelling content, such as blog posts, social media updates, and visuals, that align with the brand's voice and message.
  • Liaise with customers to create engaging case studies for use on the website and social media.
  • Keep the websites updated, making recommendations for any improvements.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to the wider team to optimise strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities, providing insights to inform marketing activities.
  • Manage events, trade shows, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and engagement with target audiences including following up with leads made at events.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing content calendar, ensuring timely execution of planned campaigns and activities.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, such as maintaining databases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar marketing, sales or communications role, including internships or entry-level positions.
  • A strong understanding of marketing principles and concepts, as well as digital marketing platforms and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MailChimp and basic graphic design software such as Canva.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable team player.
  • Experience with social media platforms and their use in marketing campaigns is a plus.
