Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Communications will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our firm's goals and objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker, strong media relations experience, and the ability to manage internal and external communications effectively. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of asset management — preferably credit and equity — and a proven track record of building and managing high-performing communications programs.


You Will:

  • Develop and implement a global strategic communications plan that supports the firm's objectives and enhances its reputation in the market in multiple global markets — North America, Europe & Asia — with comprehensive PR plans for each region.
  • Oversee all aspects of external communications, including media relations and public relations in order to develop talking points, Q&As, reactive messaging, press releases, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment with internal and externally facing marketing materials.
  • Lead the creation and dissemination of key messages, press releases, and other communication materials to ensure consistency and alignment with the firm's brand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation.
  • Manage internal communications to ensure clear, consistent, and effective messaging across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop thought leadership content and position the firm's executives as industry experts.


You Have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years within the financial services or asset management industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies.
  • Strong media relations skills and experience developing a robust network of media contacts within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise messaging.
